The Filmmakers Academy for Young People is held once a month by the Independent Filmmakers Festival (IFF), it is a free program designed to inspire and educate aspiring young filmmakers. This initiative provides hands-on workshops, expert mentorship, and networking opportunities, helping participants develop storytelling, cinematography, and editing skills. Open to all young creatives, the academy fosters a supportive environment where budding filmmakers can collaborate, experiment, and bring their cinematic ideas to life.

By offering free access to industry professionals and resources, the program ensures that passionate young talents, regardless of background, have the opportunity to explore and grow within the world of filmmaking. It's totally free and seniors are welcome. Many professional volunteers give their time to give tech tips to upcoming filmmakers and digital artists.
